Elizabeth Frank

Elizabeth Frank received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Arizona State University in 1986 and for several years decorated sets for the film industry.

Each piece Frank makes begins with fallen aspen branches or reclaimed wood. She collects the wood in a variety of areas from urban scrap piles to the remote mountains of the southwestern United States. Some other favorite found materials are antique ceiling tin, skeleton keys, and old photographs. Every object tells a story and by layering many odd pieces together the life of each artwork unfolds.

Elizabeth’s work is exhibited in galleries throughout the country and is included in numerous private as well as corporate collections.
